About Us

The founders of Advocates for Deaf Education (ADE) originally met through a support group for parents of hearing impaired children.  We were discouraged to learn the Greater Cincinnati Community where we lived did not have the resources to teach our children to listen and speak through the use of their cochlear implants.

As a result, we founded Ohio Valley Voices (OVV), an educational program located in Loveland, Ohio.  The success of our children while they attended OVV inspired us to create Advocates for Deaf Education.  We want all hearing impaired children in our local community to have access to assistive listening devices and established deaf education programs regardless of family financial means.
